We are pleased to announce the organization of an Eco-Mela during the upcoming conference, where industrial experts and students from various universities and colleges will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their eco-friendly processes and products.
As part of this event, students will also have the chance to compete for the Innovator Award, with the winner receiving mentorship and guidance from our TBI mentors to further develop their innovation.
Note: Eco-Mela for STUDENTS is open for 9 December, 2024 only. Although the winner will be announced on that day, he/she will be awarded at the valedictory session of ICCETSD on 10 December, 2024.

- For Industry- ₹7,500/- (US$ 150) + GST (2 exhibitors maximum) for 9 and 10 December 2024
- For students- ₹500/- (US$ 100) + GST (2 students maximum) for 9 December 2024 only
Terms and Conditions:
- Eligibility:
- Participation is open to individuals or teams from recognized school/college/ university/ research institutes.
- Participants must be at least 18 years of age or have consent from a legal guardian if under 18.Else institute the student studying in will be considered as the guardian of the non-adult students.
- Entry Requirements:
- Participants must showcase a working prototype of their innovation at the Eco Mela.
- Each entry must include an idea pitch presentation that highlights the concept, functionality, and potential impact of the innovation.
- Innovations should preferably align with technological solutions that contribute to environmental sustainability.
- Entries that demonstrate a clear environmental benefit or address an ecological challenge will be given preference.
- Registration:
- All participants must register for ICCETSD 2024 and submit a completed application form by the specified deadline.
- The application should include details about the prototype, team members, and any relevant supporting documents.
- Evaluation Criteria:
- Prototypes will be evaluated based on their innovation, feasibility, scalability, environmental impact, and presentation quality.
- The judging panel, appointed by TBI-GEU and ICCETSD organizers, will include experts in technology, innovation, and environmental sciences.
- The decision of the panel will be final and binding.
- Participation Guidelines:
- Participants are responsible for setting up and presenting their prototypes during the Eco Mela event.
- All prototypes should be operational and demonstrable on the event day.
- Presentations should be clear, concise, and no longer than the allocated pitch time.
- Participants must be present at their booths during designated judging times to answer questions and provide additional insights to the panel.
- Minimum Participation Requirement:
- A minimum of 20 participants must register and showcase their prototypes for the award to become applicable. If this threshold is not met, the award will not be granted.
- Award Details:
- The winner will receive a cash prize of INR 20,000.
- The winner will also be awarded one year of incubation support at TBI-GEU, valued at INR 5,000 or more, bringing the total prize value to INR 25,000+.
- The incubation support includes mentorship, access to workspace (when and if available), networking opportunities, and potential funding guidance.
- Intellectual Property Rights:
- Participants retain ownership of their prototypes and ideas.Graphic Era (Deemed to be University) will reserve the applicant status along with the participants.
- By participating, entrants agree to allow TBI-GEU and ICCETSD to use photographs, videos, and summaries of their entries for promotional and reporting purposes.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Prototypes must be safe and compliant with local laws and regulations.
- Any hazardous or potentially dangerous elements in a prototype must be disclosed to the event organizers in advance and handled according to safety protocols.
- Disqualification:
- Failure to comply with the terms and conditions, failure to show a working prototype, or not presenting during the assigned time slots may lead to disqualification.
- Any instance of plagiarism or intellectual property infringement will result in immediate disqualification.
- Prize Acceptance:
- The winner must accept the prize during the award ceremony at ICCETSD 2024.
- The incubation support component must be activated within three months of the award date and will last for a period of one year.
- Miscellaneous:
- TBI-GEU and ICCETSD reserve the right to modify the terms and conditions at any time with prior notice.The organizers will not be liable for any damages or loss incurred during the event participation.
